Our Team
Mr. Kaliser has been a Texan for over 47 years. He graduated from the University of Texas in Austin with a B.A. in Sociology and a minor in Accounting. Subsequently, Mr. Kaliser graduated from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis in 1999, where he subsequently joined Gardere as a corporate bankruptcy and restructuring lawyer. After five years of extensive experience in some of the largest bankruptcies and workouts in the history of the U.S. (Enron, WorldCom, Kmart, Michaels and several others), Merrill left Gardere for a boutique firm that focused on commercial real estate restructuring and workouts.
In 2008, Merrill opened up his own law firm, Kaliser & Associates PC (Commercial Real Estate & Securities Law Firm) where his primary practice area was corporate, real estate, and creditor representation. Merrill’s law firm (www.kaliserlaw.com) has represented over 1,800 multi-family/SFR/Storage transactions/syndications nation-wide valued at over $6.6B.
2008: Merrill co-founded Longhorn III Investments LLC (Hard Money Lending Company). The company quickly became the premier hard money lender on nonowner-occupied single-family properties in the state of Texas. Two years later, Merrill co-founded Trident Realty Investments LLC, a 506(b) Reg D fund that became the main funding source for Longhorn III, providing $40M+ in lending capital.
2012, Merrill formed Longhorn IV Investments LLC (SFR Operating and Consulting Company). LIVI co-venture with Building and Land Technology (BLT), a large privately held real estate developer, manager and private equity firm. Longhorn and BLT jointly bought, rehabbed, leased, and property managed over 1,075 single family rentals. During this time, Merrill developed a proprietary software platform for acquisition and construction management. He also founded the property management company Lone Star 4 Rent, LLC (Construction & Property Management Company). In April 2015, the portfolio was sold at a significant profit to a large private Canadian real estate group. At the time of sale, the portfolio was valued at $181M.
2016-2018,US REVI, LLC (SFR Real Estate Company)originated,rehabbed, leased, and eventually facilitated the sale of 1,400 SFRs for Ovation Partners, a $1B private equity firm based in Austin. This portfolio was valued at over $210M and generated a substantial gain at sale. To date, his team has bought, rehabbed, leased, property managed and sold over 9,500 SFRs in 5 states. Longhorn IV Investments (his SFR acquisitions company) continues to utilize its software and brokerage licenses to service a couple of Texas- based funds.

Mr. Monteiro is a seasoned executive who has had numerous working relationships with international and U.S. corporations where drive, motivation, and leadership generated and increase in sales and profit growth across all positions. Some of Mr. Monteiro's skills include cross-functional leadership and management of motivation for large teams, budgeting & forecasting, systems development, call center operations, strategic development as well as day-to-day operations. His success has proven invaluable in providing corporate planning with creative and scalable programs to generate sales increases and drive profit growth, which in turn provided operational leadership with the opportunity to enhance productivity and efficiency while reducing operating costs.
Mr. Monteiro has been a key executive in America's Fortune 1 Company's Internet retail site, involved in Business Development, Merchandising, Supply Chain Management, and Operations. Mr. Monteiro helped develop and execute a successful E-commerce business model for the Company. Mr. Monteiro also has extensive experience in technology and software.
Commercial Real Estate
Multifamily Acquisition & Repositioning
Mr. Monteiro has also been a real estate investor since 1999, starting with Single Family Home rentals and building a portfolio containing assets located in multiple states, then moving up to Multi Family in 2008. Today, Mr. Monteiro is a CRE/Multifamily sponsor, developer and operator based in DFW, TX. 10,744 Active & Sold Multifamily units alongside investment capital, $1.45 Billion assets under management with 1,400+ units in our deal pipeline. He is the Founder of Texas Multifamily Investor Network, 8900+ members strong. Mr. Monteiro partners with Private Equity Firms and Family Offices, as well as syndicate his projects in Texas.
New Development
Mr. Monteiro is also a Developer of ground-up, new construction Multifamily projects and has a robust pipeline of new development projects in various stages of the development process.
Raw Land
Mr. Monteiro also owns Open Sky Land Company LLC. The company buys and sells raw land across the State of Texas. When the opportunity presents itself, the company engages in value-add and development opportunities & projects for targeted land parcels and acreage. These projects provide economic & tax benefit to the City and the County. The company engages multiple 3rd party vendors for these projects, which ultimately benefits the company’s customers, land buyers or homeowners in the area where the project is located.
Single Family Real Estate
After leaving his corporate job in 2008, Mr. Monteiro has successfully started three businesses in the Real Estate Sector. Previously, he co-founded and was the CEO of Rylex Capital LLC. Founded in 2013, Rylex Capital and its subsidiaries provide much needed home mortgages throughout Texas. The main objective is to offer buyers the opportunity of home ownership instead of renting; especially to those who cannot obtain financing from traditional lenders. Rylex Capital believes in surrounding itself with professional experts that specialize in areas of acquisition, underwriting, marketing, title, insurance, compliance, realtors, loan servicing and legal counsel. The company strives to make a positive difference within the community while providing a refreshing level of dignity to its customers. The sole focus the company’s efforts are in the Lone Star State - TEXAS! The company’s Vision & Mission Statement focuses on both a profitable & scalable business model, while at the same time doing social good and providing a positive impact to the communities we serve. In 2018, Mr. Monteiro sold Rylex Capital to a Texas Financial Institution.
Helping Investors
Mr. Monteiro has assisted hundreds of investors make money in real estate with their hard earned money totaling over $150 million in investor capital. With his detailed method of helping each investor understand and create his/her investing profile, he has been able to put investor’s capital to work to attain solid, safe & secured returns in various RE asset classes that far exceed their other options outside of real estate. Education. Mr. Monteiro received a MBA from the University of San Francisco majoring in International Business with an emphasis in Marketing and a BS from Santa Clara University majoring in Economics, also with an emphasis in Marketing. He is a lifetime member of the Beta Gamma Sigma, National Honorary Society for Schools of Business. Mr. Monteiro also attended The London School of Economics International Student Exchange Program. Born in Hong Kong and raised in Asia, John has extensive experience in National and International business.
Jeff began his career at Nortel Networks, where he held several positions in the Research and Development area focused on Quality Assurance and Project Management.
While at Nortel, he received Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) and; also, his Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSS-BB) certification while focused on product efficiency and cycle time reductions resulting in $250M annualized savings.
In 2010, Jeff joined Ericsson as a Senior Manager in the Release Management Team. In this role, he was responsible for representing the entire R&D team for Ericsson’s CDMA product releases. Focus areas included budget planning for their $20M program, portfolio prioritization and execution, workforce planning, and risk management strategies.
In early 2013, he transitioned to lead process improvement teams and initiatives for Ericsson’s North American Region. In this role he built a team to monitor and report region-wide improvement projects that contributed cost savings to Ericsson’s bottom line. Not limited to just improving visibility and performance, he pushed for the investment in their analytics and business intelligence development in the improvement area. He also created the foundation for the region’s Business Process Management Center of Excellence focusing on business process optimization and automation.
In January of 2016, Jeff joined US REVI in the dual role as Chief Technology Officer and Chief Operating Officer. In addition to being responsible for day-to-day operations, he utilizes his R&D background to solidify the company’s technology and business intelligence strategies. This includes developing cutting edge software for acquisition, rehabbing, leasing, and automation of almost every daily task.
Jeff attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, in Troy NY, and holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering.
Tandy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois. She started her career as an auditor working at a regional firm in Chicago. While working, she earned her CPA certification. After six years, Tandy moved to Dallas and joined the firm Philip Vogel and Company as an Audit Manager. She is a licensed CPA in the State of Texas.
Tandy left public accounting after 13 years and branched out into real estate at Inland American Communities. She oversaw the financial and tax reporting for 12 operating student housing entities (approximately 12,000 beds) and 15 corporate entities.
When the real estate market took a turn, Tandy worked as an independent Controller for various small businesses, helping them focus on their operations as she handled their financial and tax reporting. It was then that she met Merrill. In addition, Tandy assisted a small CPA firm with tax returns, both corporate and personal.
Eventually, Tandy felt the need to be part of a team and she became the Controller for a small LED manufacturing company. She assisted operations in bringing a portion of the manufacturing and assembly work to Texas.
Recently, Tandy and Merrill crossed paths again and she joined the team at Axiom Consulting. She is responsible for the financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, tax preparation and assisting operations.
Tandy lives in Far North Dallas with her husband Chris and their German Shepherds. Tandy prefers to cook and travel in her spare time.
Bernard is the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of Revision Masters. Prior to Revision Masters, he was the founding partner of YorkLane Capital Partners, a private equity real-estate firm that actively invests equity on behalf of individual and institutional investors in large-scale real-estate developments. Prior to YorkLane, he held various roles at BMO Capital Markets Investment Banking and Brookfield Asset Management in their property group in New York, NY. Bernard began his career in the assurance and advisory practices of PwC LLP. He has over 20 years of real estate, private equity and corporate finance experience.
Bernard's real estate experience encompasses underwriting property acquisitions approximating $10 billion, 60 million sq. ft. in consummated transactions across various asset classes and subsequent monitoring of performance of these investments. Bernard holds an MBA in Finance and HBA from the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto and is a Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant, CPA, CA.
Andrew is a Real Estate Investor focusing on developable vacant land in Texas and the Carolinas.
Andrew’s first experience with Real Estate began in 2015. Looking for a reason to leave corporate to spend more time with his family and his newborn daughter, Andrew took an opportunity to help build and scale a small one deal land flipping business. Within three years, Andrew and his partner were able to scale the company to over $1M+ in sales and a note portfolio valued at $1.5M+. At the end of 2020, Andrew and his partner entered into single-family and multi-family development in the Carolinas, and quickly scaled the division within 14 months to over $1M+ of projected profits.
Prior to Real Estate, Andrew spent over 6 years in Public Accounting specializing in Mergers & Acquisitions, Financial Services Consulting at multiple top global accounting firms. Andrew has led and assisted on multiple highly visible & public full enterprise and carve-out corporate sales ranging from $2M to $6B.
Andrew is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Andrew is also a passive Real Estate Investor that has held assets in commercial development and Multi-Family apartment buildings in Texas and the Carolinas.
